My family came down to KC to celebrate Easter. It was nice to not have to travel, and Easter fell right in between a test, so Isaac spent most of his time at school. The family showed up on Friday and that evening we spent some time at Town Center, ate at Gordon Bierch and went to "The Hunger Games" movie. It was a wonderful evening!

Nice shirt!!
On Saturday while Isaac was away at school, we all went grocery shopping for Easter dinner, and then had lunch at Chick-fil-a or "chick-a-flicka- as we like to call it. Yum!! That evening we all went to one of our favorite restaurants - Avuletto's Italian Delight. It is an authentic cafeteria style Italian restaurant - Definitely our favorite place in KC!
The night before, mom and dad went hunting for egg fillers outside. There they found this beautiful cigarette butt, and some other wonderful prizes, including the worst of them all: a dead bird. Yes, for the mother of all "bad" eggs, they filled the plastic egg with a dead baby bird they found on the grass under our tree...talk about disgusting. I'm just glad I didn't have to open it. This was the first year I didn't get the worst egg..last year I got a fish eye that they had just cut out of a fish from the pond, and then the year before I got a dead mouse...our parents are just so generous during the Easter season :)
For Easter dinner, we dined on ham, twice baked potatoes, asparagus, rolls, waldorf salad and spring cupcakes.
Playing a little Bible Trivia for the final eggs.
Isaac's clipped fingernails...
Lucky Noah! Benson's nasty post-bath hair from the shower drain!
Of course..there were a few "good" eggs to offset all the bad ones!
My girl Mocha came to celebrate Easter!
Easter baskets that were hidden in the apartment. They sure were hard to find in our 800 sq. ft apartment!
Trying to get a family picture. Ben didn't want to cooperate!
Noah's Star War's eggs...or Star Trek?
We ended the weekend with some time at the dog park. As always, the pups enjoyed the exercise and we had a nice time as well.
